The “Grow Boston Greener” Program is providing 10 red maple trees and 5 red oak trees in collaboration with the Department of Conservation (DCR). The program is a collaborative effort of the City of Boston and its partners in Boston’s Urban Forest Coalition to plant 100,000 trees in Boston by 2020. You can help with this historic effort by planting a tree. These trees will be planted according to the plans developed last summer in the partnership between DCR, Arborway residents, coalitions and organizations through the “Gateway to the Arborway” planning process.
